COVID-19 Update - May 29, 2020

We hope you are safe and healthy, especially during this COVID-19 outbreak.  As our office re-opens, we wanted to inform you of our new safety measures and infection control protocols we have adopted in order to protect you and our team members. Luxe Dental has taken the past 2 months researching and planning under the guidance of the state government, CDC, ADA, and other various public health agencies to design these new protocols to safely reopen our dental office to minimize the spreading and contracting of this novel disease. Moreover, we are happy to share that our stringent infection control protocols have surpassed regular standards and will continue to go above and beyond in providing a safe, sterile working environment for you and our team members.

BEFORE YOUR VISIT:

  • All appointments and pre-screenings questions must be confirmed at least 24-48 hours BEFORE your appointment. This can be done conveniently by text message, phone call or email.

  • All patients will be expected to be in healthy condition in order to be seen. While a high percentage of COVID-19 infected individuals may only show mild or even no symptoms at all, we would like to ask all patients that exhibit symptoms that are possibly linked to COVID-19 to reschedule their appointment. Cancellation fees will be waived.

  • In order to observe social distancing, the parking lot will be used as our virtual waiting room.  We know this may be an inconvenience for some of you, but it will be enforced to limit exposure and increase safety. Upon arrival, please call or text us to notify us that you’re here.  Post-Arrival instructions will be given to each patient.

  • ALL patients will be required to wear a face mask/covering and hand sanitize immediately upon entering into the office.

  • ALL patients will have their temperature verified with a touchless scanning forehead thermometer upon arrival. A patient with a temperature higher than 100 degrees Fahrenheit will be dismissed and rescheduled.

  • Please do not bring any additional friends or family members as they will not be allowed inside.

  • All patient forms are formatted to be fillable on your own mobile device (using a PDF app) or downloaded in printable form to be filled out at home prior to your visit.

DURING YOUR VISIT:

  • We are equipped with additional personal protective equipment (PPE) for all of our team members so please excuse our appearances. We will appear a lot more "covered up", but don't be alarmed, it's just for your and our protection.

  • A new suction device will be placed in the patient's mouth which will minimize aerosols produced during certain procedures and actually makes it more comfortable for the patient to stay open.

  • Medical grade HEPA H13 air filtration purifiers will be used throughout the office to circulate and clean the air.

  • In addition to our strict routine infection control protocols, all common areas will also disinfected throughout the day with products that meet EPA’s criteria for use against COVID-19.

SCHEDULING/APPOINTMENTS:

  • There will be efforts made to stagger patient’s appointments to allow for minimal communication between individuals in the office and to accommodate for social distancing. Patient appointments will also be extended to give team members sufficient time to disinfect and prepare for the next patient. As a result of all these measures, fewer appointment slots may be available. All appointments will be cancelled if not confirmed. Cancellation policy will be strictly enforced.

  • As many of our patients already experienced the free virtual consults we have provided many of our existing patients during the shelter in place, we will continue to incorporate virtual communication through email/text/phone for non-clinical related appointments to reduce in person contact.

Please know that we will always put the health and safety of our patients and our team members before anything else. Don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or concerns.
